We are seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of the hotel while ensuring a positive guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and exterior grounds.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical issues.
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks and maintain maintenance logs.
- Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests.
- Assist with room inspections and ensure rooms are in proper working order.
- Perform painting, carpentry, drywall, and general repair work as needed.
- Maintain outdoor areas, including landscaping, snow removal, and seasonal upkeep.
- Monitor and maintain hotel equipment and systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance, facilities, construction, or hotel maintenance experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Must be able to work occasional weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed.
