Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Facilities Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will help keep our hotel running smoothly by maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities. You will perform routine maintenance, respond to repair requests, and ensure all systems operate safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems.
- Respond to guest and staff maintenance requests promptly.
- Assist with facility improvement projects and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory of tools and supplies.
Qualifications:
- Experience in facilities or building maintenance, preferably in a hotel or commercial setting.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems.
- Ability to work independently and respond to emergencies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
