Housekeeper/Room Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic space for guests or residents. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Experience in hospitality, janitorial services, or industrial cleaning is preferred, but we welcome candidates eager to develop their skills in housekeeping management and floor care.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, scrubbing, and specialized floor care techniques
• Change linens, make beds, and ensure guest or resident rooms are presentable
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials as needed
• Follow established safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
• Adhere to company policies regarding cleanliness standards and customer service

Qualifications

• Prior experience in cleaning, custodial work, hotel housekeeping, or janitorial services is highly desirable
• Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods is a plus
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and independently
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Experience in hospitality or housekeeper management is beneficial but not required
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed and maintain a positive attitude toward team collaboration
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
