Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take drink orders accurately, ensuring timely service
- Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, adhering to safety and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware and utensils
- Assist with food preparation and presentation when necessary, especially during busy hours or special events
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations at all times
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating dietary preferences or restrictions
- Support banquet or catering events as needed, contributing to smooth operation during large gatherings
- Handle cash register operations and process payments efficiently
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred; experience in fine dining or banquet settings is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly and adhere to legal requirements for serving alcohol
- Experience with food preparation or catering is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure during busy shifts
- Food industry knowledge including dietary considerations and beverage trends is beneficial
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
