Position Summary:
Riverside Restaurant is seeking an experienced and motivated Evening Restaurant Supervisor to help lead daily restaurant operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. This role is responsible for overseeing evening front-of-house operations, supporting and coaching team members, and ensuring all service and operational standards are consistently upheld.
The ideal candidate is an organized and service-focused hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and leads with professionalism, positivity, and attention to detail. This individual will play a key role in maintaining high-quality service, operational efficiency, restaurant cleanliness, and guest satisfaction while working alongside the team to create memorable dining experiences. This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Front of House Manager.
Responsibilities Include:
- Supervise and coordinate evening restaurant and dining room operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Direct and motivate front-of-house staff, including servers, bartenders, and support team members.
- Monitor employee performance, provide coaching and feedback, and address performance issues as needed with FOH manger.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, service standards, health regulations, and workplace safety requirements.
- Manage staff deployment and shift assignments to maintain service efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Proactively address guest concerns, provide timely resolutions and utilize service recovery strategies to enhance the guest experience.
- Conduct shift inspections to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and operational standards.
- Monitor team productivity and service quality, implementing corrective actions to improve performance.
- Support management and maintain a positive, professional work.
- Complete End of Day paperwork with consistency and efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Exceptional judgment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess situations, prioritize needs, and make sound decisions independently.
- Previous restaurant or hospitality leadership experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and team-building skills.
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent guest service.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

- $25.00 - $28.00 /hour eligible to participate in the restaurant tip pool
