Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate commercial washers, and dryers to clean linens, towels, and uniforms.
- Inspect items for stains, tears, or wear, and treat or report them as needed.
- Fold, stack, and store clean items in an organized manner for easy access by the housekeeping team.
- Perform a variety of houseman duties such as stripping linens, along with sweeping, mopping, dusting and emptying trash if necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the laundry area, following all hotel and safety guidelines.
- Notify superiors of any damage, deficits, and disturbances.
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any companyrelated practices.
- Make up beds and change linens if needed
Experience, Skills, and Education
- Proven experience as a laundry attendant, professional cleaner or housekeeper (recommended but not needed)
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
- Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel. stoop and bend.
- Customeroriented and friendly.
- Prioritization and time management skills.
- Working quickly without compromising quality.
- Knowledge of English language.
- High school degree preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Located just off Interstate 694 in Shoreview, MN, this 115-room property provides a great stay for our corporate and leisure travelers. For our corporate travelers, we are located just minutes from companies like Land O'Lakes, Country Financial and Boston Scientific. The hotel is just a few minutes from the Rosedale Mall and about 15 minutes from downtown Minneapolis. On-site there is also a Green Mill restaurant and the North Metro Event Center.
