Job Summary:
Best Western [Hotel Name] is seeking a dependable and motivated Maintenance Technician to help maintain our property at brand standards and ensure a safe, comfortable stay for our guests. This position plays an important role in the overall guest experience by keeping the hotel well-maintained and operating efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Complete preventative maintenance (PM) on guest rooms and hotel equipment
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders
- Repair or replace plumbing, lighting, electrical fixtures, door hardware, appliances, and HVAC components
- Assist with pool maintenance and inspections (if applicable)
- Ensure property appearance meets Best Western brand standards
- Maintain organized tools, equipment, and work areas
- Communicate completed tasks and ongoing issues to management
- Follow all safety, security, and company procedures
Qualifications:
- Prior maintenance experience preferred; hotel maintenance experience a plus
- General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Ability to work independently and prioritize daily tasks
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
