Manager on Duty

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager On Duty to oversee daily operations for the Comfort Inn hotel. This role is crucial in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service while maintaining a positive work environment for our staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to excellence in operations of the hotel. Hours are based on need and we always try to make up any extra hours.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations with the Regional Manager, ensuring that all staff adhere to company standards implemented by upper managment.
• Provide outstanding customer service, addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
• Ensuring accuracy in transactions and financial reporting.
• Train and develop staff members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the hotel, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with all staff to ensure timely and efficiency.
• Assist in managing inventory levels.
• Implement training programs focused on enhancing service quality and operational efficiency.
• Work in every department if there is need.
• work minimal 3 days on desk shift 7a-3p (other shifts only as needed)

Experience

• Must have Proven experience in hospitality management of 1 year with documentation to back this up.
• Strong background in all 4 departments of the hotel: Breakfast, housekeeping, desk, and maintenance.
• Experience in supervising staff and managing team dynamics effectively.
• Ability to train all staff to enhance employee skills and service delivery.
