Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures
- Manage reservations and room assignments using hotel management software
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy
- Operate multi-line phone systems to answer calls promptly and efficiently
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and billing details
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Process payments and handle cash or credit transactions securely
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures, including night audit responsibilities if applicable
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and multilingual abilities (bilingual preferred)
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and reservation software
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment
- Hospitality management experience is a plus
- Familiarity with guest services, guest relations, and hospitality standards
- Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts if required
