The Best Western Plus ClockTower Inn is looking for a Maintenance Technician to help ensure our hotel and restaurant remain safe, efficient, and welcoming for every guest. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in general maintenance and a passion for fixing things right the first time.
What You’ll Do:
- Keep guest rooms, public spaces, and the hotel exterior in top shape through routine and preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems (including PTAC units).
- Perform basic plumbing tasks—fixing leaks, replacing fixtures, and keeping systems running.
- Handle minor electrical work such as replacing outlets, switches, and light fixtures.
- Patch, paint, and repair drywall, replace flooring (LVT/carpet), fix and maintain all room furnishings.
- Help maintain our restaurant, kitchen, and laundry equipment.
- Monitor and treat pool with chemicals and equipment to meet safety standards.
- Use and maintain power and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Quickly respond to maintenance requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Keep accurate digital records of work orders, inventory, and maintenance logs.
What We’re Looking For:
- A team player who is reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance.
- Willingness and ability to work weekends and evenings as needed.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean 7-year driving history for daily shuttle van operation.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification—or willingness to obtain it within the first 6 months.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
