A Breakfast Server for Hotel Guests is a hospitality professional who ensures our hotel guests receive prompt, friendly service during early morning hours. They are responsible for taking orders, delivering food and beverages, resetting tables, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere to help guests start their day.
Core Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet guests warmly, answer menu questions, and make recommendations.
- Order Taking & Delivery: Accurately process food and drink orders (e.g., egg preparations, various sides) through the Point of Sale (POS) system and deliver them to tables in a timely manner.
- Station Maintenance: Clear dirty dishes, reset tables for new guests, and ensure all areas of the dining area remain clean. At the end of shift, make sure the dining room is clean and ready for dinner service.
- Buffet & Stocking (for special hotel groups or functions in meeting room): Assist with buffet setup, ensure food stations remain fully stocked, and keep coffee/juice replenished.
Key Qualifications
- Early Riser: Ability to consistently work early morning shifts, typically beginning between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM.
- Multitasking Skills: Capacity to manage a high volume of quick-turnaround tables during fast-paced morning rushes while constantly maintaining a high level of customer service and positive attitude.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk constantly, and carry trays or objects typically weighing up to 30 to 50 pounds.
- Communication Skills: A friendly, engaging personality with the patience to handle guest requests and dietary requirements. Able to communicate clearly and concisely with back of house team members.
Pay: $10.00 per hour
