What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Attendant position at Best Western Moreno Hotel & Suites?
Assists in insuring the quality housekeeping work meets hotel standards by inspecting rooms cleaned by housekeepers
Performing arrival inspections as assigned and informing designated personnel when unit become available for arrivals
Checking unoccupied units for proper thermostat settings, lights turned off, unauthorized use of rooms, maintenance deficiencies
No excessive noise to be made in the guest room areas, as it may disturb a guest
Priority to the checkouts / arrivals to be given when scheduled for the preparation of the rooms
Check for DND’s before entering an occupied room
Remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items from room and balcony/patio
Straighten desk items, newspapers or magazines, furniture, and appliances and restore to original positions
Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings (e.g., appliances, furniture, ice bucket, honor bar, baseboards, ledges, entrance door)
Vacuum carpets and performs floor care duties (e.g., in guest rooms and hallway)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
