Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in housekeeping, floor care, stain removal, and customer service. This position involves maintaining a clean and orderly environment for our guests.
Duties:
- Perform cleaning tasks to maintain hallways, public spaces, and guestrooms including making beds with tight corners
- Sanitize bathrooms and replenish supplies
- Vacuum carpets and perform carpet cleaning as needed
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and towels
- Operate laundry equipment such as washers and dryers
- Inspect items for stains or damage and report any issues to the supervisor
- Assist with inventory management by keeping track of supplies
Qualifications preferred but not required:
- Experience in housekeeping or custodial services
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
- Knowledge of laundering techniques and proper handling of different fabrics
- Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service to guests
