Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be able to perform various maintenance tasks effectively. A commitment to customer service and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are crucial for success in this position.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues using tools such as an ohmmeter.
- Execute residential painting tasks as needed to maintain the aesthetic quality of the facilities.
- Fabricate parts or components as required for repairs or improvements.
- Supervise and provide leadership to maintenance staff during projects or repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant or client concerns promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Proven experience in maintenance roles with mechanical knowledge.
- Familiarity with CMMS software is preferred.
- Ability to use tools such as an ohmmeter effectively.
- Skills in welding and fabrication are advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Experience in residential painting is a plus.
- Leadership qualities with experience supervising teams is desirable.
- Must be able to work independently and manage time efficiently.
