Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all areas of the facility.
- Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms, common areas, restrooms, and other designated spaces.
- Manage floor care duties such as sweeping, buffing, and waxing floors as needed.
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks for larger areas or specialized equipment following safety protocols.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored; report any shortages or maintenance needs.
- Follow housekeeping management protocols to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing custodial duties.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns related to housekeeping.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred; experience in hospitality settings such as hotels is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals used in floor care and industrial cleaning.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
