The Best Western Grants Pass Inn is seeking a reliable and skilled Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment for our guests and staff.
Position Type

- Must be available to work weekends (schedule may include holidays as needed)
Compensation
- Wage dependent on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, common areas, and exterior grounds
- Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical issues
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment and facilities remain in good working order
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, health regulations, and brand requirements
- Coordinate with management and outside vendors as needed
- Assist with room turns, inspections, and readiness for guest occupancy
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience preferred (hotel or hospitality experience a plus)
- Working knowledge of general maintenance trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
- Valid driver’s license preferred
