We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards of quality and hygiene. Responsibilities
- Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently, following proper procedures for different fabric types.
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items according to established guidelines.
- Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area, including regular cleaning of machines and work surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Adhere to safety protocols while handling chemicals and operating equipment.
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and garments.
Experience
- Previous experience in a laundry or cleaning role is preferred.
- Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus.
- Hotel experience is advantageous but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
