Night Auditor (Part-Time) – Best Western Fredericksburg

Best Western Fredericksburg is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently during overnight hours while providing excellent guest service and ensuring the accuracy of the hotel's daily financial records.

Typical Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: 2–3 nights per week, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and complete check-in and check-out procedures.
• Perform the nightly audit and balance daily hotel transactions.
• Process payments and maintain accurate financial records.
• Answer phone calls and assist guests with questions or requests.
• Ensure the lobby and front desk remain clean, organized, and secure.
• Monitor hotel security and report any unusual activity.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and management regarding overnight issues.
• Prepare reports for management and ensure all end-of-day procedures are completed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional attitude.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel front desk or Night Auditor experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel management software.
• Comfortable working independently during overnight hours.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
