About the Position
The Best Western Flora Inn is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you'll play a vital role in delivering a clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience for every guest.
This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys staying active, and values teamwork. Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred but not required—we're happy to train motivated individuals with a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms and public areas according to Best Western brand standards.
- Make beds, replace linens and towels, and restock guest amenities.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, furniture, mirrors, windows, and flooring.
- Vacuum, dust, mop, and remove trash from guest rooms.
- Clean in-room appliances such as refrigerators, coffee makers, and microwaves.
- Report maintenance concerns and damaged items promptly.
- Turn in and document all lost and found items.
- Respond professionally to guest requests.
- Maintain clean, organized housekeeping carts and supply closets.
- Follow all safety procedures and proper chemical handling guidelines.
Qualifications
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Positive attitude with a commitment to exceptional guest service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push housekeeping carts.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Hotel housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
Schedule
- Full-time and Part-time positions available.
