Front Desk Agent

Overview:
We are looking for a customer-focused Front Desk Agent to be the first point of contact for our hotel guests. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest service, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Weekend availability will influence $/hr & hrs/week.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression of the property
• Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using multi-line phone systems and front desk software
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism, aiming for complete satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records of reservations, guest information, and billing details
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs promptly
• Promote hotel amenities and services to enhance the guest experience
• Support night audit procedures as needed to ensure financial accuracy and reporting compliance
• Use bilingual or multilingual skills to assist diverse guests effectively
• Uphold phone etiquette standards when communicating with guests over the phone or in person
• Assist with guest relations initiatives to foster a welcoming atmosphere in the resort or hotel.
• Close the breakfast area, restock food for next day and clean dirty dishes. Sweep and Mop the breakfast area and lobby.
• Wash, dry, fold and put away laundry. Make sure you are doing laundry throughout your shift.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hospitality, resort, or hotel management is preferred
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Familiarity with front desk operations and phone etiquette
- Strong guest relations skills with a focus on delivering excellent customer service
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure
- Knowledge of night audit procedures is advantageous

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
