Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, take accurate orders, and deliver food and beverages promptly using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, handling food safely, and ensuring proper food presentation.
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Assist with food preparation when needed, support kitchen staff, and uphold food safety protocols in accordance with sanitation guidelines.
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, process payments, and manage open/close shifts responsibly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy nights or events such as nightclub evenings or special functions.

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or upscale environments.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous for efficient order processing.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations confidently.
• Culinary experience or knowledge of food handling, preparation, and sanitation standards is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume service periods.
• Experience in guest services roles such as host/hostess or bartender enhances your ability to create welcoming atmospheres.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and managing sales transactions efficiently.
