Responsibilities
- Operate commercial laundry equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and guest clothing
- Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements
- Handle special cleaning processes such as dry cleaning when necessary
- Ensure all laundry is cleaned according to safety and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area and equipment
- Follow proper procedures for stain removal and fabric care
- Assist with inventory management of linens and supplies
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Experience
- Prior experience in laundry services or cleaning is preferred
- Hotel or hospitality experience is considered a strong advantage
- Knowledge of laundry techniques including dry cleaning is beneficial
- Ability to operate commercial laundry machinery safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
