Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with late check-ins or early check-outs, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Manage front desk operations using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms to update guest records, process reservations, and handle billing.
- Conduct nightly audits by reconciling financial transactions, verifying account accuracy, and preparing reports for management review.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone or in person, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues efficiently.
- Monitor security cameras, conduct routine property inspections, and ensure adherence to hotel emergency procedures to maintain a safe environment.
- Handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while addressing guest needs or internal communications.
- Document incidents or irregularities during the night shift through detailed reports, ensuring proper follow-up and record keeping.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, preferably with resort or hotel experience.
- Strong knowledge of hotel management systems such as OPERA or other property management software (PMS).
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a problem-solving mindset to address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to respond confidently in urgent situations.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone communication and multi-line phone system handling.
- Ability to work overnight shifts in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail and professionalism.
