Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the hotel's complimentary breakfast buffet while providing a clean, welcoming dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up the breakfast buffet before guest service begins.
- Monitor the buffet throughout service and replenish food and beverages as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the breakfast area, including wiping and sanitizing tables.
- Clean and sanitize the kitchen, breakfast area, and equipment after breakfast service has ended.
- Rotate food inventory using proper food safety and freshness guidelines.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Provide friendly and courteous service to hotel guests as needed.
Qualifications
- Ability to start work at 5:00 AM.
- Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Previous food service or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and customer service.
- Food safe certification
- Reliable transportation
