What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Technician position at Best Vac?
We are looking for an energetic, friendly person to join our family owned team. We are a busy retail sales and service business with a 50 year history in St. Charles.
Responsibilities include estimating and repairing vacuums, carpet cleaners, and related products. Interacting with customers via email, phone, and in-store. This individual will play a crucial roll in our day to day operations. Must be detail oriented, mechanically inclined, and able to work in a busy environment.
Prior vacuum repair experience is helpful, but not required. Technical experience of other kinds helpful. We will happily train the right candidate! Good customer service skills a must.
There would be some flexibility with days / hours worked. This position would be ideally a 3 day workweek, 8:30-5. Working an occasional Saturday to cover vacations would be needed. We are closed on Sundays. Normal scheduled days off can be flexible, but ideally consistent week to week. Additional hours possible during busy times, vacation coverage, and potential for growth for the right candidate.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
