What We're Looking For
We are seeking a well-rounded B-Level diesel mechanic to handle day-to-day diagnostics and repairs based on driver reports and routine maintenance. The ideal candidate will:
- Diagnose and repair issues involving air brakes, suspension systems, and fluid leaks
- Diagnose and repair issues related to engine, transmission, and driveline
- Service and repair A/C and heating systems
- Troubleshoot and repair lighting, wiring, and check engine lights
- Accurately enter work orders into the company's software system
- Have basic computer skills for logging job details
- Proficient with OEM and aftermarket diagnostic tools and software
- Bring experience with hydraulics systems
- Have minor welding skills
- Have prior waste industry experience
- Class B CDL required
- Be dependable, detail-oriented, and a strong team player
- Bilingual a plus
