Experienced Sprinkler Technician

Job Overview
This position is for those with two seasons or more of professional work focused in Irrigation maintenance, repair and installation. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a wide knowledge of irrigation related techniques and skills with hands-on, recent experience working with residential irrigation systems. This role involves the , maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems for residential and sometimes commercial landscapes. The Irrigation Technician will work closely with management and customers to ensure their irrigation needs are met effectively and efficiently.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair various types of irrigation systems, ensuring optimal performance.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to dig trenches, build systems, and irrigate landscapes.
• Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Provide recommendations to clients on the best practices for water conservation and landscape health.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on each project.
• Comply with the note taking guide
• Consistent availability Monday through Thursday with occasional required Friday and Saturday workdays Due to weather in the early week.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing all tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two full seasons of irrigation Installation, repair or maintenance with an emphasis on repair and maintenance.
• Ability to keep to task and independently progress a job without instructions
• Legal citizenship and up to date drivers license
• Good driving record and submission to a drivers background check
• No criminal record and submission to a background check
• Strong english skills with an emphasis on phone typed communications
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems and equipment.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair skills for low voltage Irrigation systems.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to dig trenches, build irrigation systems, and perform general landscaping tasks.
• Knowledge of lawn care practices and garden maintenance is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
