Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional on-site technical support across manufacturing facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and systems. Duties
- Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial equipment including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments, schematics, and analysis tools to diagnose issues accurately.
- Operate various tools and machinery such as scissor lifts, ammeters, ohmmeters, and low voltage testers to carry out repairs effectively.
- Provide technical support for industrial mechanics, electrical systems (including high voltage), and low voltage controls within manufacturing facilities.
- Communicate clearly with customers and team members to explain technical issues, recommend solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service.
- Adhere to safety protocols related to high voltage electrical work, welding procedures, and working at heights or in confined spaces.
Requirements
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing facility environment with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, hydraulic systems, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Ability to operate field service equipment such as scissor lifts safely and efficiently.
- Strong analysis skills for diagnosing complex mechanical or electrical issues using precision measuring instruments like ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Industrial electrician experience with knowledge of high voltage and low voltage electrical systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with effective communication in English; military background or industrial mechanic experience is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel frequently between sites as needed.
