Flexible Teaching Assistant – Early Childhood Education

We are seeking a caring, flexible, and energetic Flexible Teaching Assistant to support early childhood classrooms across several of our CoStars Early Education programs. This position functions as a substitute and requires the ability to travel between sites as needed.
In this role, you will engage young children in daily learning experiences, support their developmental needs, and partner with families and teaching teams to ensure high‑quality early education.

Job Responsibilities
- Substitute in Early Education and School‑Age Programs across multiple locations
- Supervise and actively engage children from infancy to preschool age
- Assist with implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans
- Support children’s intellectual, motor, social, and emotional development
- Maintain classroom safety, supervision, and licensing standards
- Administer developmental assessments as needed (DECA, Ages & Stages, etc.)
- Communicate daily with families and collaborate with teaching teams
- Maintain accurate documentation, attendance, and required paperwork
- Support a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
- Participate in required training and professional development
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CDA or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Experience working with children (infancy to preschool) preferred
- Ability to travel between sites as needed
- Comfort with frequently changing assignments and environments
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and participate in physical tasks
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
