Custodial Worker

Monday - Friday, 4pm - 12:30pm 

$17-$18/hr

Overview:
Responsible for keeping buildings clean, safe, and secure. Ensures facilities are well-maintained and presentable, especially after business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning & Maintenance 

• Perform daily cleaning tasks (floors, windows, restrooms, surfaces).
• Remove trash and operate compactor.
• Use cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Keep work areas neat and organized.

Safety & Security 

• Use and store cleaning chemicals properly with PPE.
• Follow safety procedures and handle tools responsibly.

Teamwork & Communication

• Maintain a positive attitude with staff, clients, and students.
• Ask for guidance when needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of custodial experience.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Windows & Office).
• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.
• Available for on-call emergencies and occasional evening/weekend work.

Work Environment:

• Mix of office, outdoor, and shop settings.
• Exposure to dust, odors, and noise.

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Some heavy lifting and equipment moving required.
