Responsibilities
- Support plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems according to project plans and schematics
- Assist with pipe threading, cutting, fitting, and assembly using hand tools and power tools
- Prepare work areas by cleaning and organizing materials and tools for efficient workflow
- Handle basic measurements and calculations necessary for proper pipe placement and system layout
- Assist with remodeling, maintenance tasks, and general site cleanup to support smooth project progress
Skills
- Construction site experience with exposure to plumbing or related trades
- Knowledge of construction plumbing techniques and pipe threading processes
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and HVAC systems is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems, schematics, and basic math skills for measurements
- Experience with carpentry, assembly, handyman tasks, or remodeling projects is advantageous
