Job Summary
Best Pest Control is seeking a Licensed Termite Technician to join our growing team. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented professional with experience in termite treatments, inspections, and compliance procedures.
The ideal candidate understands proper application methods, safety standards, and state regulations, and takes pride in delivering high-quality service to homeowners and businesses.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform termite inspections for residential and commercial properties
- Conduct subterranean termite treatments (liquid, baiting systems, and pre-construction treatments as applicable)
- Accurately mix and apply termiticides according to label and state regulations
- Complete detailed inspection reports and required documentation
- Ensure compliance with Louisiana Department of Agriculture & Forestry (LDAF) regulations
- Communicate findings and treatment plans clearly with customers
- Maintain company vehicle, equipment, and tools
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism at all times
Qualifications and Skills
Previous experience working with a licensed pest control company in the applied area is a plus.
- Active Louisiana Termite Technician License (Required)
- Strong knowledge of termite biology and treatment methods
- Understanding of state compliance and application regulations
- Ability to read and follow product labels and safety data sheets
- Attention to detail and strong documentation skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage daily routes
- Physical ability to work in crawlspaces, attics, and outdoor environments
- Time management and organizational skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $20.00 per hour
