Restoration Estimator
Best Option Restoration is a rapidly growing emergency water/fire, storm damage, and mold remediation and reconstruction company. The St. Paul location represents the beach head from which ownership plans to launch a Twin Cities metrowide service territory. The Company is currently seeking a Restoration Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be someone who has experience as either a field adjustor and/or restoration estimating but is ready to take that next step forward in their career.
Minimum requirements for Remediation Crew Chief Position:
- Positive “can-do” attitude
- 1 year(s) direct field adjusting and/or restoration estimating experience
- IICRC certifications: WRT, AMRT, FSRT required; ASD & CDS a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree a plus, but not required
- Consent to a background check & drug test
- Valid drivers license & satisfactory driving record
- Willingness to work hybrid model: field & remote (i.e., on the road across metro & from home)
- Dependable means of transportation
- Strong communication, problem solving, organizational, & customer service skills
- Must be able to work independently (i.e., self-starter in a "get s**t done" culture)
- Ability to multi-task & prioritize
- Comfortable utilizing variety of mobile software applications to enter data and manage the entire billing cycle (i.e., integrated project management / client relationship management, digital blueprinting, Xactimate, Office, etc.)

Job Duties: This is a full-time, year-round position with real advancement opportunities as the business scales rapidly. As a Restoration Estimator you will be tasked with:
- Supervise and respond to all activities of restoration and reconstruction work related to water damage, mold, fire, and/or other related unexpected catastrophes.
- On projects where there IS NOT an insurance claim; estimate job scope, obtain signed service authorizations, and secure agreed price
- On projects where there IS an insurance claim: (1) work with BOR’s billing specialists to ensure they have an accurate first draft of the mitigation invoice within 48 hours of the applicable project’s completion together with a rebuild estimate and all supporting jobsite documentation in a timely fashion. (2) Thereafter, monitor the 3rd party billing cycle for the Phase 1 mitigation via active communication with billing specialists. (3) With respect to the Phase 2 rebuild, work with the applicable adjuster(s) to come an acceptable settlement amount (including any warranted supplements) that is fair to BOR & to our clients.
- Interface with Field Manager(s) and Project Manager(s) to help ensure projects are completed & documented in a timely, cost effective, and high-quality manner.
- Oversee and support Accounts Receivable collection efforts which may include coordinating with & delivering additional paperwork to insurer, adjustor, property owner, mortgage company, etc.
Training & Growth: You will be provided with training by Management on all BOR processes & policies, in addition to paid internal & external training (e.g., IICRC certification & continuing education courses), and various cross training. You will have the opportunity to grow in your role over time to include additional outbound sales/marketing with corresponding goals, objectives, & incremental compensation opportunities.

- $80,000/year paid weekly
