Duties
- Manage and maintain comprehensive personnel records for active duty Marines, reservists, and civilian employees, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times.
- Assist with personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, separations, and awards, following established procedures with precision.
- Coordinate personnel assignments by collaborating with various units to meet mission requirements while considering individual qualifications and career development goals.
- Provide guidance and support to service members regarding benefits, entitlements, and career progression opportunities.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to personnel status, deployments, and administrative actions for leadership review.
- Facilitate communication between service members and command leadership to ensure clarity on policies, procedures, and updates.
- Support onboarding processes for new personnel by conducting briefings on policies, benefits, and responsibilities.
- Assist in implementing military personnel policies in accordance with Department of Defense regulations and Marine Corps directives.
Experience
- Prior experience in military personnel administration or human resources is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail to manage large volumes of personnel data effectively.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—to interact confidently with service members at all levels.
- Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
