Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Floral Park, NY. The Civil Engineer will support the planning, design, and coordination of civil works for public and private construction projects, including transportation, educational, and infrastructure facilities. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing engineering drawings and specifications, performing site assessments, and assisting with cost estimates, schedules, and technical reports. The role involves coordinating with project managers, field supervisors, and subcontractors to resolve design and constructability issues and to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements. The Civil Engineer will also support stormwater management design, permitting, and documentation, and regularly participate in site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to apply engineering principles to building and infrastructure projects.
- Experience with Planning and project coordination, including interpreting plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
