What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Powder Coat Painter position at Best Manufacturing, Inc.?
SUMMARY
The Powder Coat Painter is responsible for a full range of production powder coat duties including but not limited to painting fabricated metal parts of different shapes and sizes and which require various colors; perform quality inspections of work performed; prepare and monitor surface treatment and water titration; and perform preventive maintenance on sprayers and personal protective equipment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the painter is exposed to dust, heat, cold, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. Full-faced respirator is required when painting. Must pass a Pulmonary Function Exam as well as a Respirator Fit Test.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
1. Knowledge of methods and techniques related to powder coat applications.
2. Knowledge of methods and techniques related to safe use, storage and disposal of powder coat and surface treatment chemicals.
3. One year of production powder coat experience preferred.
