Work Schedule:
Weekly 4 to 7 hrs max.
Tuesdays 4:00 PM to 6:45 PM
Wednesdays 4 PM to 7:45 PM
Thursdays 3:30 PM to 7:15 PM
Other weekday afternoon/evening – depending on tutoring need
Resposibilities:
- Tutor students in Math. Grade levels range from pre-K to 12th grade
- Teach lessons to students in the areas from Pre-K to Algebra 1 , Algebra 2, Geometry,Pre-Calc and Calculus.
--- Teaching materials and curriculum are provided.No work required outside of class time.
- Maintain student progress records.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Third or Fourth year college student majoring in Math, Engineering or related field.
- Knowledge of Geometry, Algebra, Algebra 2, Pre-Calc and Calculus.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as a team member.
- Ability to work independently and teach the class on his/her own.
- Ability to deal with students in a caring and confident manner.
- Experience in a tutorial program preferred, but not required. We provide extensive training!
- Special consideration for those who want to be teachers.
Rate:
- Starting pay $14.00 to $20.00 an hour (depending on experience).
Training:
- We provide extensive training
- Training will start at your earliest convenience.
