Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CHHA (Certified Home Health Aide) role based in Burlington, NJ. The CHHA will assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and safe mobility in the home. Responsibilities include providing personal care, monitoring and reporting changes in client condition, and supporting basic patient care tasks under the direction of a nurse or supervisor. The CHHA will also offer companionship, engage clients in appropriate activities, and help with light housekeeping and meal preparation as needed. The role requires consistent, reliable attendance and adherence to care plans, safety protocols, and agency policies to ensure high-quality, person-centered care.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Home Care and Patient Care to support clients in a safe, respectful, and professional manner.
- Ability to assist with Activities of Daily Living and Personal Care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support.
- Effective Communication skills to interact clearly with clients, families, and clinical team members, and to document and report observations accurately.
- Current New Jersey CHHA certification in good standing.
- Experience in home health care or a similar care setting preferred.
- Ability to follow care plans, maintain confidentiality, and uphold client dignity and cultural sensitivity.
- Reliable transportation to client homes in and around Burlington, NJ, and ability to work assigned shifts, including possible evenings or weekends.
- Background check, health clearance, and any required immunizations as per state and agency regulations.
