Part-Time Position
Pediatric Office is looking for a receptionist for a busy pediatric office.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Create a customer-friendly environment
- Answer phones, referring calls to physicians
- Retrieve messages from voice mail and greet patients.
- Schedule/cancel patient appointments
- Verify demographics and insurance information
- Register and check out all patients
- Collect co-payment; print receipt as needed (post charges and payments – if needed)
- Reconcile money collected and charges at the end of each shift
- Address all emergency referrals
- Confirm appointment schedule
- File and/or upload letters, reports, doctor notes, and triage notes
- Print daily appointment lists
- Maintain supplies of all forms and office material
- Maintain waiting room, magazines, and toys for a generally tidy appearance
- Miscellaneous clerical and administrative duties as requested
Job Requirements:
- 1 years of Front Desk experience in a (Pediatric environment)
- 1 years of Customer Service experience
- 1 years of Insurance billing experience
- 1 years of medical electronic records experience
- Driver's license and reliable transportation available
- Work Schedule/Hours: Friday, Sunday, Tuesday 9am-6pm
