Our Assisted Canine Care (ACC ) program bridges the gap between veterinary treatment and home life, offering structured recovery, attentive supervision, and genuine love to dogs healing from surgery, illness, or chronic conditions.
We’re seeking a Canine Care Specialist to join our growing ACC team. This role is ideal for someone with a background in animal care, veterinary support, or rehabilitation who thrives in a nurturing, detail-oriented environment.
What You’ll Do
- Provide individualized care for dogs recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic illness.
- Administer medications accurately and on time according to veterinary instructions.
- Monitor and document each dog’s condition, behavior, and progress.
- Collaborate closely with veterinarians to follow discharge and recovery plans.
- Maintain calm, clean, and comfortable recovery spaces for dogs in our care.
- Support pet parents with clear communication, compassion, and reassurance.
- Ensure safety and consistency in all aspects of care—feeding, exercise, and enrichment.
What We’re Looking For
- Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant certification.
- Experience in veterinary assistance, animal care, or related fields.
- Confidence in handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and medical needs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow medical protocols.
- Empathy, patience, and a passion for helping animals heal and thrive.
