Best Friends Animal Society is looking for volunteers to submit Open Records requests for specific AL animal shelters and government bodies. Only Alabama residents can do this so we need YOUR help! You can play a role in bringing your state to No-Kill! This data will allow us to directly target our programs to save the lives of the most at-risk animals and guide our work toward achieving No-Kill in ALL shelters.
If you're comfortable dealing with city officials by e-mail and phone and you have excellent attention to detail, we'd love your help! Please review the full position description https //bit.ly/ORRvol26 and then send your resume or a summary of your relevant skills to nationalvolunteers@bestfriends.org.
Please note this is a remote volunteer position that you can do from the comfort of your home! Work will start in early January 2026, and training will be available in late December.
