We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Dispatcher to coordinate and manage the efficient movement of freight, vehicles, and shipments within our logistics network. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and dispatch drivers efficiently and safely.
- Communicate with drivers and cleints regarding schedules, updates.
- Provide dispatch follow-up and support throughout the day.
- Handle alternate after-hours/ on- call dispatch duties as schedule.
- Monitor driver status and ensure timely communication.
- Assist with resolving transportation or scheduling issues as they arise
- Strong knowledge of transportation planning, logistics, and supply chain principles with experience in freight dispatching.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitaks in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems professionally.
- Dispatch or Transportation industry experience preferred.
- Reliable and dependable with attention to detail .
Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
