Best Driver Solutions is currently seeking experienced Flatbed CDL-A Drivers for a great opportunity in the Birmingham, AL area. This is a full-time, first shift position with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, and drivers are typically home most nights.
The ideal candidate will have prior flatbed trailer experience and be comfortable securing and transporting freight safely and efficiently. Drivers must be able to operate both automatic and manual transmission equipment, as manual transmission experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a flatbed tractor-trailer while following all company, DOT, and FMCSA safety regulations
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment is safe, compliant, and properly maintained
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, especially flatbed
- Knowledge of hazardous materials regulations (hazmat) preferred but not required; willingness to obtain necessary certifications if applicable
- Skilled in manual transmission operation and truck loading/unloading procedures
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning for local delivery routes
- Strong understanding of DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards for commercial driving
