Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls to appropriate personnel and taking messages as needed.
  • Perform clerical duties including data entry, filing, and maintaining organized records.
  • Utilize QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping tasks and manage office finances.
  • Handle calendar management, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
  • Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and assist with ordering when necessary.
  • Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing reports and presentations using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Ensure compliance with office protocols while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an office setting is preferred, with a focus on clerical or administrative roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly; familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply; proficiency in additional languages is an asset.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette.
  • Ability to manage time effectively while handling multiple priorities in a busy environment.
  • Experience as a dental or medical receptionist is advantageous but not required.
  • Typing proficiency along with strong proofreading skills are essential for this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.70 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 8 per week
