Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met or exceeded
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents to clean surfaces, floors, and carpets
- Dust surfaces, clean windows, vacuum carpets, mop floors, and care for flooring to maintain a pristine appearance
- Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or equipment safely and efficiently
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Prior experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping is preferred; janitorial experience is a plus
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards
- Ability to manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods
- Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely
