Role Description The Cleaning Specialist role is a full-time, on-site position based in Sioux Falls, SD. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing residential and commercial cleaning services, with a focus on carpets, tile and grout, upholstery, and various floor surfaces according to company standards and safety guidelines. The role involves operating cleaning equipment, following prescribed low-moisture and encapsulation methods, and ensuring work areas are left clean, safe, and presentable for customers. Cleaning Specialists communicate professionally with clients, follow scheduled routes and job orders, and complete documentation related to services performed. The position may also require assisting with supporting teammates, and maintaining company vehicles and equipment in good working order.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in residential settings, including Home Cleaning, House Cleaning, and basic Carpet care.
- Experience with Commercial Cleaning and Carpet cleaning in offices, retail, or other business environments.
- Ability to perform specialized services and care for various floor surfaces (tile, vinyl, rugs).
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to high-quality customer service.
- Ability to lift and move equipment and materials as required and to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn company-specific cleaning methods and follow safety and sanitation protocols.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for traveling to job sites, if required.
- Previous professional cleaning or restoration experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training may be provided.
