Best Home Furnishing is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in a Band Saw Operator position at our Ferdinand Indiana facility.
Job Title: Band-Saw Operator
Reports to: Frames Supervisor
Our Band Saw operators work in a fast pace, high volume, group rate incentive environment.
Job Requirements:
- Cut cardboard
- Use patterns
- Able to follow cutting list
- Able to push wheeler with parts to proper lines.
- Must be willing to float to other lines when production dictates.
- Able to work scheduled hours on a regular basis; teamwork; adhere to quality standards and safety practices
- Will need to be trained and pass lock out tag out process exam
- Lifting up to 40 lbs maximum; 50%-frequent
- All other duties as assigned
Other Job Qualification Factors:
- Maintain consistent work pace
- Able to work schedule hours on a regular basis – which could include overtime
- Able to work within a team
- Adhere to quality standards and safety practices as defined in the work instructions
- Possess willingness to cross-train on other jobs as production dictates
- Able to stand for extended periods of time.
Education or experience required: High school or equivalent
