Job Summary
We are seeking a Family Nurse practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will primarily be creating and managing a plan of care for individual patients. You are a Family Health Practitioner who operates with great attention to detail and a big heart. You take pride in creating personalized care plans for patients and are able to observe and communicate effectively in your patient's best interest. To succeed, you should have demonstrated knowledge and skill in current nursing practices as well as a strong penchant for solving problems. Provider should be comfortable with seeing very young children to adults. Providers at our practice excel at both preventive care, health maintenance measure tracking according to the needs of each patient, and responsible management of chronic conditions. Provider will need to document thoroughly to uphold guidelines and compliance best practices for each patient. An interest or background in aesthetics, integrative wellness, or support for mental/behavioral issues is a big plus.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with other colleagues to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans
- Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects or reactions
- Document any changes in patient conditions and report on changes
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and discuss observations with the supervisor
- Finish/sign all clinical notes within 24 hours, complete with applicable service and diagnosis codes
- Supervise the office's team of clinical staff including medical assistants and medical office personnel
Qualifications
- Currently licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)/ARNP in state of employment
- Family Medicine board certification is preferred
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and client care skills
- Valid DEA and ability to manage and prescribe controlled substances
- First aid/CPR/BLS or ACLS certification required
Compensation: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
