Role Description The Warehouse Associate is a temporary, on-site role based in Bismarck, ND. This role is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving merchandise, unloading delivery trucks, and organizing inventory in storage areas. The Warehouse Associate prepares orders for store distribution, packs and labels items accurately, and ensures products are handled safely to prevent damage. Additional duties include operating warehouse equipment as authorized, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and following all company policies and safety procedures. The role requires consistent, reliable attendance and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform Shipping & Receiving tasks, including verifying, documenting, and organizing incoming and outgoing merchandise.
- Experience with Packing and preparing products for distribution, ensuring accurate labeling and safe handling.
- Skills in Unloading trucks and moving goods efficiently within the warehouse environment.
- Capability to operate a Forklift and Pallet Jack safely and in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines (certification or willingness to obtain is preferred).
- Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull merchandise and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Reliable work habits, punctuality, and commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive workplace.
- Previous warehouse, retail, or logistics experience is beneficial but not required; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
