Role Description This full-time Digital Imaging Specialist role is an on-site position based in Wilmington, DE. The Digital Imaging Specialist is responsible for providing high-quality digital imaging services, including photo retouching, image enhancement, and file preparation for various customer needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with customers to understand their imaging requirements, performing detailed image editing using professional software, and ensuring final outputs meet quality and brand standards. The role collaborates with sales and store teams to recommend appropriate services and products, explain available options, and support store performance goals. The Digital Imaging Specialist also maintains imaging equipment, follows data privacy and security guidelines, and contributes to a positive, inclusive customer experience.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills and or interest in digital imaging, including photography, video recording and editing. It is not a must, but it is a preferred qualification.
- Customer-focused mindset with proven customer service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and the ability to translate technical concepts into everyday language.
- Basic sales and consultative skills to identify customer needs, explain service options, and support store sales goals in a professional, ethical manner.
- Attention to detail, color accuracy, and quality control, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Collaborative approach and willingness to work with diverse team members and customers in an inclusive, respectful environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or certification in photography, digital media, or graphic design is a plus.
